Average Pace 8:30, Ran at JRP. Very busy week getting Briana's Graduation present ready.
During my run today I noticed a pigeon on the sidewalk where
I was running. It was on its back with its feet in the air. I thought: what a
bummer it probably go hit by a car and is now dead. When my foot landed next to
its head, it move its head and blinked its eyes. My next step was more like a leap then a stride;
I contemplated what to do and decided that I could do nothing for the bird. On
my way back it was still basically in the same spot and position. I am confident
it had a broken back and could not move. I could not bring myself to put it out
of its misery. So I just left it there.That is a bummer too.
I just want to say, I am back in the saddle again.
Youth Conference is over, I have graduated, Our daughter graduated, the car is not totally fixed yet but it is close. Now all I have is stuff like sprinklers that need repair, leaky fausets, shed needs to be organized, ya know, normal stuff.

Average pace 9:02 Started running at 4:30 PM, Around 92 degrees Ugh. This was a difficult run way to much junk at my Gradation party. Still too much crap at the house, anyone want 12 dozen chocolate chip cookies that our daughter made, they are great, you can't just eat one... just ask me.
Average Pace 8:53, started run at 4:30, temp was 90 degrees. ugh. I think tomorrow I will run right at the end of my shift 2:30 I wonder if that will be any better. It is out by the airport so I should have a good breeze, which will help with the heat.
